if you have your swing arm off i'd really like to know the width of it where it meets the frame for a street fighter project im doing. i'll soon be gettin round to that part of the bike and wanna do some research into what i could make fit. anyone have a sec to get an exact measurment i'd be very gratefull as my time is limited with 4 kids and mines still on the bike at the mo. cheers!

 

226.5mm is the most accurate I can get, using a steel tape measure. This is at the pivot bearings. Is that accurate enough?

 

If you buy an F2 swingarm, I've got rims I could sell ya.

look into a vfr swingarm. I hear some of them will fit.

 

thats what im looking into, also the nc29 400 rr may fit (with minor mods), its not a single sider but looks nice, any 89 and on fits up to a 160 rear (i believe) so i may go that way, thats if i can get this swing arm off!! lol, anyone know what size that huge nut is as im stuck on that, frames naked apart from the swing arm, half me tools got pinched so im replacing them slowly! off to the tool shop the week end to pick sum up. also if anyone knows what size the plugs are? as im gonna strip the engine down too and cant find a plug socket that fits. cheers guys!

 

not sure about the swingarm nut but the plugs are gonna need a 17mm with a thin sidewall so you can get it down in there.
