Default Swing arm

I just recently bought a 2002 954rr back in April thatwas pretty much bone stock. So far I've added a stabilizer, an undertail kit, and a Yosh pipe but I've been looking into getting a pair of chrome wheels and a single side swing arm and I'm looking to do the work myself. I'm justlooking for some feedback from anyone who might have done this before andif youcould inform me about the difficulty of the project or of any ideas of wheretherightplace to go to find the best parts. I'd appreciate anyones input.

I have not done the job you are asking, but i have had my swingarm off a few times and its pretty easy going. Tools are pretty basic, you just need to have the rear wheel suspended of course. Not sure where to help you on parts though, perhaps someone else can chime in for you.

i did chrome rims.. very simple.. one armed swingarm.. unless you fab it yourself i dont believe there is a kit but i def. could be wrong but i remember looking when i redid my 954.... if there is it iwll be very pricy .. but chrome rims all you need is some stands and some hand tools... here is a pic with my chrome rims

I can tell you that unless you pay a assload for someone to fabricate a single sided swing arm, your best bet is to look into a vfr swingarm and go from there.

I'm certain no SSSA exists for the 954 but I can say that I have seen a 900 and a 929 with one... both of them were custom fabs from a VFR swingarm
