tail section has been painted flat black, still not sure design to put on the tank was thinking of some japanese symbols or a phoenix the design will be red since ill be spraying the tank flat blk
I got some questions for yall,

1, I currently need the top half of my air box didnt come with it : / but im also curious about running individual filters any opinions on that?

2, ill be ordering a chain soon any suggestions on what color chain would look the best?

3. i found these gauges on ebay and was a little amazed at the prices and features what do you guys think?

heres the one that really caught my eye cause it uses a mechanical drive for the speedo but will the stock cable will thread onto it? anyone know the thread size of the stock speedo?

bought a new nickel silver chain along with a sprocket set stock gearing but all new in box for 55 shipped aswell as a gas cap with key for 39 shipped. chain and sprockets already arrived gas cap en route but the bad part is my sockets are at my friends shop always so close but so far! then an airbox and she is mechanically complete but still not quite done. heres a pic of the chain/ sprockets

 

Good job your bike looks sexyfied. How is that paint holding up? I used high heat primer with roll cage epoxy paint and I didn't like the durability of the paint. Even though the roll cage paint was an epoxy paint which I'm told is usually really durable. I used primer when the directions ask for no primer which left me wondering that was the reason why the paint was chipping so easily. Anyways good luck hope to see an update soon.

 

On the one piece tail I see the one screw hole doesn't have a screw in it. What did you fab up to make it work? Looking gooo though, same ideas I have in mind for one of mine......

 

bike was impounded on saturday and since i got it with a bill of sale on top of the fact my license is suspended its gone forever.... luckily im picking up a 2001 929rr this friday for 500 its a complete bike but will need engine work
god closed a door and opened a window... dont worry i will not be driving this one until im allowed back on the road probably gonna be a while
