get the frame welded, no question about that

 

could you show a picture of the crack? I'd actually like to SEE where these crack at. the explanations just leave me a hazy picture.

 

sorry for the late response ill take a pic of the crack later tonight but i have painted the frame and gas tank... heres some eye candy

the tank is going to be two tone one side red the other flat black with exclamation marks on each side in the opposite sides color :P





just need to paint engine swing arm and rear sets flat black then i can focus on the odds and ends carbs just need air cut off valves to be done and can someone post a pic of where the charcoal canister goes on this thing?

 

i used dupli-color metal cast red and yes i used the metalcast base coat. color came out a nice blood red camera dont do it justice, and i saw an almost mint hurricane at the local gamestop during the midnight release of modern warfare 3 guy paid 2gs for it a bit much but great looking bike i recognized it from the other end of the parking lot the guy was surprised to meet someone who knew what he rode. lol good times


I need a huge favor can somebody post a pic of their rear swingarm? the charcoal canister should be located on the left side of the monoshock i need this so i can figure some stuff out. thanks!

 

it was a mission but i picked up this little jem this morning its a sharkskinz solo tail got it for 30 off of the local ads on craigslist :P


now to mount it securely...
and sorry i cant get a pick of the frame crack due to it being covered by paint, i will strip the area when i go get it welded until then use ur imagination

It is looking great. That tail is pretty sharp and 30 bucks is an awesome deal. What is that little red clip on the rear axle for? When I bought my bike the back tire was just mocked up on there so I'm not sure if I have all the parts to put it back together.

What does the charcoal canister look like? I won't be home for a few days to take pictures of my swingarm but if it is what I think you are talking about it was clipped to the back of the battery box. I need to read the manual a few more times...

the clip is pretty much just a washer if u dont have one a regular washer should be fine, the canister is under and to the left of the rear shock it would be a huge help!


cut off piece of rear tail frame and made a plexiglass cover for the rear
