Default permanent light on mod

i'v a uk 2004 woth no light switch, standard.

other model's have right control's with off/side/main switch.

can i just but a ebay r/h switch gear and plug it in.??

-----------

done the same on the lad's 04 rs50 and it was just a couple of wires soldered off in the loom up to the switch and a blanc plate.
------------

i like to be able to taake the load off the electrics at my choice, especially if i'm working at it and leaving the ignition on for a few min's now and again.

Headlight switch? In the US you have to have them on at all times so we only have a choice between Hi and low beam.

You can try to ask at the CBR1100XX.com forum. They have a lot of knowledgeable folks on the XX on that site.

Same in Oz strek. My 1989 CBR 1000F has a light on/off switch but the 92 is hi/low beam only. I think we had a rule here in the early 90's that says when the ignition is on the lights are on.

well, got a switch off ebay,,
complicated with the cables involved. so i got a stumpy screwdriver and just switched the internals.

so it is just a straight change, plug.

great job.
