I too think its a bit on the high side, but within reason, and gotcbr has some great points. I have an 05 Repsol edition and love it. Even though its styling is getting dated, people still walk up and ask if its new. They certainly stand out. I have over 20,000 miles on mine and it hasnt missed a beat. I have friends that have logged 100k on bikes without any major issues. So the mileage is not worth worrying about.

If you really want the bike, buy it. A couple hundred bucks here and there isn't worth missing out on the bike you really want. Also, its spring, so its definately a sellers market. If it was fall, I'd say haggle a bit, but not in the spring.
