alright heres a hard one to describe.. i'm not a complete moron ok,, it's not the brakes, or any sort of regular engine noise. when i go to take off, after the clutch has been fully let out and i'm slowly accelerating i hear a noise click click click click.. i don't know how to describe the noise exactly but it sounds like if a piece of something sticky would be stuck on the front rotor and the pad was rubbing on it each time it went around? it is not the front brake i was just describing the noise. could it be the clutch? it is definately coming from the motor area, it does get faster and faster with the rpm's too.. i can hear it all the way up untill about 40 or 50mph and then i loose it casue of the wind nosie! the bike has 5 or 6 thousand miles on it.. it can't be the clutch can it???
