This question is for anyone who has an 08 CBR 1000RR.. Does the 08 1000RR have a storage trunk under the passenger seat from the factory? I was thinking about getting one to add to my 929 Erion, but I've been spoiled with the huge factory trunk on the 929 and I'm looking for a new bike that has nearly the same or at least can allow a trunk upgrade. Thanks for any replies.

 

Yep there is trunk storage space. Enough to put probably two 16 oz. water bottles. Not bad for the new 1k compared to the previous 1k's.

 

Yep, it has a trunk. It's not huge, but I don't know how it compares to the 929.

 

929 trunk is the shhhhtttt! but if you add that to the 1k it will change the whole look of the bike but it would be nice to have that much room I use to use my 929 trunk a lot now I just got use to not carring crap with me

 

Yeah the 929 trunk was by far the biggest...the 954 wasn't too bad but my 05 1000RR barely fits my paperwork...definitely wouldn't fit even travel shampoo
