be careful with steel braided lines though. it takes some getting used to. much less flex and forgiving in terms of sudden braking.

OK. It's time to report:

1. Lines installed (in Red).
2. Lever stroke is shorter, which makes it great for two finger braking, even with winter gloves.
3. Brake has firmer feel, which I like very much.

After about two months of riding with the lines, and one more bleeding, I am happy to say that it was a good decision, making the already great 1000RR brakes even better.

how often do you have to bleed them? Im a little skeptical about buying them for the 1000rr bc i love the way it brakes. i had galfter lines on my gsxr600 before and got into two flips due to sudden front braking. no i didnt race or stunt, just a cage cut me off and i grabbed a handful of front brake. let me know what you guys think of upgrading them (besides for cosmetic purposes)
