This just screams tires to me. Either out of balance or just plain damaged. I've had mine over 150mph with no shake at all from the bike (just my knees)

This is especially suspect if the shaking gets worse as speed increases. The nature of a rotating mass is to get more stable the faster it rotates unless something is very wrong.

I have had my 04 1Kr up to about 280 kmp and she was rock solid and no shaking at all...Maybe check the tyre pressures or even go to your honda dealer and get them to check it out.

My HESD has saved me many atime when I have landed crossed up whilst landing a fast Wheelie!

Yup..I dun have a problem with my HESD even after I crashed 3 times on the track and flipped/crashed my blade while pulling a wheelie!! [8D] In fact it saved my life many a times when I go on top speed and encountering mini humps and potholes on the roads.
Top speed I mean going in 6th gear with my throttle fully opened till my RPMs can't climb anymore..

Word of advise thou..do not chop your throttle close immediately when you encounter these humps at high speed!! Juz slowly decrease your throttle input until your handling is stabilised before really slowing down and thanking God that the HESD works(with knees shaking)!!

I think it was the tire pressure or i had a flat spot on one of the tires. Ive had it up to 145 recently in 4th gear and no problems. Maybe the bike was just sittin to long before i bought it.
