Default Saddlebags or Luggage

http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/766149/

Thats a pic of my baby....what I want to do is take a nice long ride and vacation and see some of the country. However as you may notice as with all CBR RR's there is absolutly no storage......This leads me to my question. Who makes the best fitting bags for this type of bike. I also have a custom undertail which may lead to some compatabilities in universal bags.

Take a look at the pic and let me know what you may think would work....also if you could provide a link for me to look at, not just the name of a bag it would help a lot more.

Ride Safe!!!

Take a look at Cortech. I was very fussy about how any type of luggage fit on my 1K and found that it is not bad. For occasional use, I have the Cortech Sport Tailbag but you can add more with the Sport Saddle Bag set. Just a side note, if you end up with the sport tail bag, the cords are messy looking unless you criss cross them under the rear seat, keeps things looking as good as possible which still securing it nicely.

I too use Cortech; I have their tail pack, their saddle bags & their tank bag - the Big 'Um. I think it's around 21 litres; it has tonnes of pockets and is really two bags in one, as the top 25-30% zips off and can be used alone; it doubles as a backpack, too.

This stuff is built like iron. I've never had a seam separate - and I've owned the tank bag since '96 and have used it for almost daily for commuting, sport touring & long distance touring! It comes in either a strap style or magnet style attachment.

Cheers

+1 on Cortech. I received many different recommendations and decided to go with the Cortech Sport Tailbag which is awesome. They also have a set of saddle bags which hook to the sport tail which are nice too. I only need the tail, good enough for meand highly recommended. You can cross the bungie mounts under your back seat in order to maintain the clean look.
Motorcycle Superstore has great deals and their customer service is excellent in case you need to return.

I just bought the Ventura kit... easy to install and looks good... two of my neighbors came up and said they liked it.. The tour kit was $350. Pics are on the website.

I would recomend cortech luggage. They have some good reviews for the sportbike riders that want to do a little touring. http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/home.php?cat=31
