Installing LED's on the saddlebags
You need to take out the 2 screws (photo 1) and take off the red cover. next you need to drill a hole to run the wire inside (photo 2). stick the LED's (white) where the cover went (photo 3) Look at the red cover and see where the groove is so you know where to place the LED's. install the cover and connect to 12 volt source (running lites).
Ok I do need a 12v all weather connector so I can run the power outside the bag. So I can connect the power (12v) when the bags are on and disconnect the power (12v) when I want to take them off. Any suggestions???

you could order new weatherpack connectors from http://www.rjminjectiontech.com/?p=12 for 2$ per set or goto just about any salvage yard in the states and cut one off a gm vehicle made after 1998 for 50 cents and splice it in. they are kind bulky but are pretty much guaranteed to be weatherproof.

I'd be inclined to refit your underseat mudguard to keep the muck out............
For connectors, I would use a quick release, like a philips connector from a speaker, to a waterproof connector with a cover, then to the battery. Put it under the seat. You then won't have wires trailing from the boxes when you remove them.
