Possibly buying a 1k rr any pointers
i currently have a f4i and its a great bike, but i feel like im kind of outgrowing it a little. the thought of a 1krr kinda gets me worried but i know you dont have to use all the power its given, now iv rode my friends r1 so i have an idea of what it'd feel like.
so what i was wondering is i wanna get a 1krr, years from 04-07, im not loaded so id like a bike thats well worth the money, are there any major differences between these years? and also how much more is insurance gonna be?
id appreciate the insight.
im probably not gonna sell my bike till next summer as thats when id prob get the most buyers and maybe a little higher sell price.
thanks agian

I just got rid of my 04 and it was a sad day .......its a great bike and I think its a great move up from the F4I.
The only real cosmetic difference is the 04-05 plastics are a bit different then the 06-07, the motor has a few differences as well. But nothing that would make a difference.
Insurance is on you and your driving record and choice of companies.
if you have any more questions I can try to answer them

I went from a 99F4 to an 06 1000rr. You'll love it. I took my time to adjust because the power was incredible. This link may have some answers to differences between 04-07. Honda CBR1000RR - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia As far as insurance goes I really didn't pay much for my rr. I am 42 though and that helps.
