Default new pipe

I just got a yoshimura pipe installed on my 06 cbr 1000...i feel the difference in riding..it's not bad but i liked it better with a stock pipe on..plus now im gettin really low mileage! my light comes on at about 105 now and with the stock pipe the light didnt come on till atleast 135 or so...

also im not able to ride the wheelie for as long as i was able to with a stock pipe..anyone out there has an idea whats going on?

It shouldn't be the pipe, but a wise investment would be a power commander. That, plus the pipe, will give you the results you are looking for - dyno proven HP increases and better response. You will also be able to hold your wheelies easier once it is configured porperly.

This is what I am told by other people with more knowledge than me about these sort of things. I have rode a 1000RR with a yosh pipe and PCIII and it is definately a better setup than stock.

I am with Onarom on this one...

I have heard great things about the Power Commander!

I don't have either mod currently, but when the time comes the PowerC and the pipe will be purchased and installed together...

Good Luck!

ABest

you are not going to feel that much of a difference with a yosh slip on
i am sorry to say
the average hp increase with that pipe even with a pc3 and custom map is around 5
on this big of a bike 5hp isnt that much of a difference

the pc3 AND a custom map will smooth things out so that the throttle is at least smooth.

remember that no two bikes are alike even with the same mods so even someone elses custom map with the exact same modifications will run different on your bike.

besides
arent wheelies illegal anyway

I have aYoshi RS5 Carbon on my CBR 2006 1K and I like it better than stock,Currently doing the flapper mod, power commander and changing my current flush mounts to the watsensflush mounts. Ican't wait to feelthe difference. My understanding is it will equal a smallincrease in horse powerbutso much better for overall performance.
