I purchased my 05 1000rr with no rear signals or the front aftermarket signals not wired up. I wired up the rear signals pretty easy. The front have 3 wires from the harness and only 2 from the signal. How do I wire these in? Also when I use the turn signal it does nothing. It doesn't blink at the light or on the dash. And finally the bright light does not work either. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

 

Ok so I figured out the wiring for the front signals but the bright headlight and the signals still don't work.

 

The 3 wires account for a running light and turn signal, but it sounds like the issue lies with in the entire switch on the left bar.

Does the horn work? Id check to make sure the connector has a good connection.

 

So the horn works. The bright light has a loose connection. If I press it down with a little pressure it turns on. Do you think the blinkers are related to this? Again there is zero response to any of the light indicators on the dash.

 

Yes, because you're not getting anything on the dash and you had issues with the brights. Also, check your fuse.

Then I'd test the relay if everything else checks out.
