maybe a dumb question but:
wouldn't lowering the high beam down, make you lose visibility?
What do you think is going to happen if you tint it?

thanks fellas, thought about it and will be lowering the high beam, instead of doing anything with it.
brightness at night is more important than looks.
Thanks, Appreciate all your help.

I tinted mine with a mesh tint used for the back window of ppick-up trucks. It applies perfectly with a little heat (hair drier or heat gun).

I also used it on my swingarm- it created a great carbon fiber look!

Yes, it has holes in it. I haven't noticed much of a difference in brightness when I am riding. I also haven't noticed any problems of the "mesh" getting too hot. It does, however, make a hole pattern with the light, especially on the outside edges of the beam. It is not too annoying but it is noticable, especially when you are not moving. Sorry, but I can't think of a way to clearly describe what I am talking about. I hope that made sense.

I am sure some people will like this and some will not, but for about $15, it wouldn't be too much of a loss if you decide you dont like it.

Here is a closer shot of my headlights. I also included a close-up of my swingarm to better display the "tint" used.
