Default RE: Lowered 1000RR

I've heard and seen too many horror stories (at the track and the street) with lowered bikes. I figure that Honda set this bike up with stock suspension settings to be the best on the street and track equally. Messing with the ride height of the bike usually results in negative handling whether on the street or track......mainly more cons for the street. Once lowered, you start venturing into problems like scraping over speed bumps, scraping fairings, suspension bottoming out, etc. I would just leave it alone. The only thing I had done is have my front suspension hardened up a bit when I go to track days, then adjust it back to stock for the street.
