Default Lowered F4i

Hello

I just had my F4i lowered 2" and now the bike sits up too vertical when on the kick stand. Anybody know a good solution to this? I was thinking of cutting off the bottom 1" of the kickstand and rewelding the foot so that it leans over more like it did originally.

Thanks in advance.

That would work and is probably the cheapest way to go. There are aftermarket adjustable kickstands but they are pricey.

Both are good soultions. Try bending it first and if you can't get it how you like, then cut it and reweld. However remember when you heat metal, it looses it's tenstile strength. So after you do that, don't try spinning the bike around on the kickstand.

Thanks for your advice. I think we'll try bending it first. I looked for an adjustable kick stand but couldn't find any for the F4i and they're really expensive.

I had mine cut, but not that much because I plan to raise the bike up a little at a time. It still stands somewhat vertical but it's okay to not tip over for most places. Plan to reweld the plate when my bike is at it's final height.
