Default Anyone lowered their 929?

Curious to know if this adversely affects handling? and if any 929ers have done this?

I did my 929 last week. I dont really like the way it feels. Its to jumpy IMO...
But it looks a lot better.

Good Luck!

mines lowered a couple of inches, rides rougher, and a little harder in the corners. Looks funny if the front end isnt lowered also.

I lowered my front and rear when I first bought it so I would feel more stable. This was my first bike ever and I was learning to ride on it. After about 1500 miles I felt comfortable enough to raise it back up . The two things I noticed : 1 the ride quality improved , it felt less twitchy more stable, and 2 it turned a heck of alot easier!

Unless you're going to drag race it their really isn't any point in lowering the bike. I'm only 5'5 and ride my 929 just fine. I can't put both feet on the ground at stop lights but its never bothered me.

hey guys just wanted to let you know, that i just got my 929 and its lowered a couple inches i think 2 inches if im right could be 3 but i love the look but im also not big in the turns yet so we will see , i get nervous leaning like that right no lol seeing how this is my first bike ever, but in cars lowering them will increase center of gravity and will better the turns, but bikes have 2 wheels and could be way different for all i know
