Default help with the seat..?

i know it might be stupid but can any one tell me how to remove the seat to get the battery out . my bike just came from the united state after sitting one month on board of the ship .. the battery is dead so i need to get it out ..

ur help is aperciated in advance thanx.

You will find 2 bolts under the back corners of the seat. Take the back end of the seat and push the foam toward the front of the bike (or pull up) to reveal the bolts. It is harder to describe by words than I thought it would be.

None the less, the 2 bolts are on the left and right rear corners of the seat. Hope this helped.

I'm not trying to be a smart-***, but don't you have the owner's manual that came with the bike? These routine things are all in there bud.

^Sometimes it is faster ask than read owners manual.
I hope simo1000rr found those bolts.

thanx onarom .. i could find the bolts after what u told me the reason i coyuldnt find it first cuz i never thought that it would be under the seat itself .. well thatnx for ur help ..
2wheels: i dont have the owner manual it got lost when the shipped my bike .

Aren't those under the seat pretty often?? That was the first place from where I was looking for those bolts when I needed to take the seat away.

on a lot of hondas yes
other bikes like my zx9 the bolts for the front seat were under the rear seat

See if you can contact Honda to get an operator's manual for your bike. Make sure they do not misunderstand your request and think your wanting the full manual. The reason I am suggesting this is because it would be good to have to perform some routine maintenance on your bike. Everything from getting the fairings off to torque specs to air filter access procedures are all in there.

thanx 2 wheels i will try later to do that .. the thing is alot of things here if u order them from the internet or someone send it to u from abroad the customs here charge u money for it .. ( im in egypt now) for instance i payed 1500$ as custom fees for my bike when i got it shipped from the usa to egypt so i dont wanna pay any more to get any thing cuz they ripp u off here .. thanx any how for the advice i will try to download it from the internet

be stupid but can anyone tell me how to open my gas lid to fill errrrrr up? i ran out of gas in april and havent been able to ride since...
