they didnt "do this" on purpose. it is just really a weak point in the design. a trade off for weight savings.

 

got her home thurs. they covered the battery and it starts, just still weak like before. i also still had a coolant leak from the hose clamp recall they they allegedly fixed. oil change as well and now im back in the high life again.
