sweet....welcome to the 2008 CBR club ... I believe i had the same issue as I was trying to get to know the tech features and pretty much you have to toggle with the bottom button.. which is the main button which changes the modes. If any further doubt I would go to the manuel. It'll further explain that particularl feature and others. I like the feature of letting you know the miles you can do with the gas you have...pretty cool features.

again congrats and you'll also read in the manuel be easy for the first 500 miles especially the book points out first 300.

have fun...and whatcha think so far riding this beast ???

The most powerful motorcycle I had ever had was '90 Ninja 600R. 1000RR is a real animal. Before I bought this, I had hard time deciding which one to buy; 600RR or 1000RR. and now I'm really glad I chose 1KRR.

I'm going to my honda dealer today cuz they even didn not give me the manual or any papers other than contract.

Are the 08's coming without manuals? That's how they lightened up soooo much.

^^It was supposed to be a funny sarcastic joke, you know kinda like [sm=icon_rtfm.gif]

I was trying to emply that if he read his manual, I am sure he could figure it out. I do not have an 08, but I am sure the clock, kilo/mile, temp C/F and trip settings are the same as every other electronically/digitaly displayedbike.
