Default Help-Wont Start!

First off, I am new to the forum so hello everyone! I purchased my 2006 cbr1000rr about two months ago, its been running great but a few days ago I was riding and I may have redlined it or atleast it gave that jerking feel when you do redline it, and about 100 feet later the engine died. Wouldnt start after that... battery is fine, I can hear the fuel pump prime, havnt put the bike down, but 1 day before that I took picked it up from my mechanic who replaced the primary gear for my starter motor and changed the oil...
Any suggestions on what the problem might be?
Thank you so much in advance

You hit the rev limiter but that shouldn't keep it from starting. I'd check the side stand switch first.

Well I recharged the battery, tried it again, it started and ran for about 5 seconds but I cant hear the fuel pump anymore. It seems like the fuel pump only is working 1 out of 10 times. bad relay? could anyone tell me where/which is the relay related to the fuel pump?

You might have a bad battery or loose battery terminal connections. Unless you ran it down you shouldn't have to recharge the battery.

Update: I just checked the fuel pump and the power cable to the fuel pump showed it was getting just under 11 volts with the ignition on but when I reconnected the fuel pump, still I couldn't hear the fuel pump priming. Is it definitely a bad fuel pump or is there any sensor or electrical thing that could be wrong??

I don't know your bike model but I'll bet it's under the seat....follow your fuel pump wire back to battery.
