Its not nuts to upgrade, its just the natural progression most of us go through. Start with something small, end up with something bigger, better, and faster!!!

Not to hijack the thread, but OldFatGuy, your bike is f'ing SWEET! I can't get over how awesome that paint scheme is. I've been riding on the street for only about a year. I've got an F4i that I love. At least I thought I did until I saw your 1000RR. It would be nuts for a novice like me to upgrade at this point but it's damn tempting.
Well thanks, kiggy74. I like it quite a bit myself. I just wish the warm weather would get here sooner.

You havin a 1K RR is like a woman with a credit card. It's there when you need it.
Doesn't mean you got use it all damn time.
I just bought mines and the bike has so much power that I'm still afraid of it.
As far as throtle take it easy comin of turns, you will lose control very quickly.
road rash ain't fun and it hurts.
