ORIGINAL: RR Pilot

I went against my better judgement with the no-cuts and thats what I get.
Pretty expensive lesson.
It only hurts like when I first put my foot on the deck rolling out of bed then Im okay after.
It hit my shin right between my Sidi's and the knee armor - my darned luck - about an inch unprotected gap.
Didnt notice til I got home and it was all swole ( had other worries from the incident ).

This much damage from my shin bone. I shoulda listened to my instincts.

Im SURE a direct impact will cause more damage than save. Your mileage may vary.

wow, that amazes me. my lightechs are extremely sturdy. i couldn't imagine bending it with my shin. i've seen several pictures of different bikes that have gone down with the lightechs and they held up just fine. you must have gotten a bad set or something.

Just installed a set of Lightechs. I'm not sure how they justify the $129 price tag for these, but overall I'd say they are pretty nice. Definitely a good alternative to cutting plastic, but I'm sure that a standard set of Vortex will provide better protection than anything.
