Default Florida Laws

Heading to bike week soon just asking around if anyone knows what the laws are like in florida about plate locations on bikes and if you have to ride with mirrors or will a rear camera work. Thanks in advance.

Depends what you want to know. Most Florida laws are the same, but some do vary from county to county. Where I work, Mirrors are a must, plate location must be under the tail, NOT set back towards the battery box. Must be within 8" of the end of the tail and must be lighted. Or, if on a swingarm, they must be horizontal, not verticle like most are, but most times if thats what you get pulled over for, you still might get a ticket either way if its on the swingarm, especially if it isnt lighted. The biggest thing if having it lighted though, cause if it isnt, you'll definately get pulled over. Make sure you have your license ready, and if you cruise around w/o a helmet, make sure your insurance cards are ready [particularly medical insurance when riding w/o a helmet]. If you have insurance, they see that kind of as a plus though, cause most people dont. Make sure you dont have any blue or red or purple neons on while going downthe road, just pretty much make sure everything is legit.
