08 09 cbr 1000 rr in the next week or too i am going to build a prototype for this bike would anyone be interested in something like that i figure price to be about 190 u pay shipping

$190 for a pipe? You thinking about some sort of sidewinder? You do realize you can't just make any old pipe. Equal length pipes...room to get at oil filter....have a good sturdy flange to prevent warping. What type of metal? Theres a reason good pipes cost $1000 or more....LOT of development! mufflers are alot because people will pay for themthere is not 500 dollars worth of tech and componenets in a yoshi or two brothers

 

Youd be suprised how much R&D cost companies to build pipes. If the R&D didnt have an impact, no company out there would do it. Not only that, if a company could build it for that much less, they would... they would kill the market by building pipes that only cost 200 bucks. A company ordering mass quantities will pay a lot less for material than someone doing it on their own.

I'm not saying you can't, but you shouldnt just right off the work the R&D departments do. Of course, the newer 1000RR exhaust probably isnt as finicky as a full side exhaust. But they are still tuned. Sometimes even a inchof pipe can make or break 2 hp..020" less dia. of pipe can have the same results.
