Default Installing a rear wheel off an 08' 1000 onto a 07' 1000

Has anyone out there tried installing a rear wheel off of a 2008 CBR 1000 onto a 2007 CBR 1000? I have wanted a set of chrome rims for my 1000 but didnt want to sacrifice gaining the weight. So what I want to do is take a set of chrome wheels from a 2008 CBR 1000 since they are considerably lighter and put them on my 07. This should balance out the wieght issue.

it will fit. all you have to do i look for the part number of the spacers. in this case they are the same and therefor they are the same size. with that being said, the wheels will simply bolt right up.
