Finally seen the 08 1000rr in person. I have to say the bike is really sharp, but it sucks that they f-ed up the front of the bike. It lookes like Honda has really payed attention to detail on this whole bike. Maybe they should of kept the 06-07 nose.

 

Looked @ em yesterday,,,salesman said million$ were spent on wind tunnel and he pointedto the nose. They look sharp..I like the color combos they have this yr. But the 06 and 07 's are tried and true machines. I think I'll keep mine.

 

I think the front looks okay in person. I thought it would be as ugly as in the pictures but the front end really isn't that bad. To me the tail end could have been a little sharper and higher. Like the ones without the storage compartment in them. Then it looks kinda cool. But it could have been a little sharper looking.

I almost want to go out and get one but am holding off to see if they release a repsol edition next year. They do one every other year I believe.

 

I like 06-07's and the 08'...
The new front remindes me of the 1993 cbr 900. The new 08 cleaned house in the motorcycle usa 08 comparo. I agree it look 100% better in person.

 

Still dont like the nose.

 

Love the nose.. almost looks as bad as a camaro SS nose compared to my Trans am nose...

Nah man, it bout time to get rid of da fat and slow look of da '04-'07 era.

 

I thought that they looked ugly in pictures, but in person the new 1Krr looks fine to me. It sure feels light, sitting on it!
