Default New to the 1000rr forum

Im not new to the forum overall, but I recently purchased my cbr1000rr a little over a month now. I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know, I absolutely love this bike. I also wanted to show it off a little.

I have a very interesting question for anyone who can answer it. On the 2007 CBR600RR there is a gas guage to let you know when you are getting low on petro and need to fill up. Where is that same guage on the 2007 CBR1000RR. I do not know when I need to fill up on my CBR1000RR because there is not a gas guage there. Can anyone shed some light on how do you know when you are running low on gas and need to fill up on your CBR1000RR. Thanks for your assistance in this matter.

There is a gas light. that comes on. Similar to a "reserve" when the light comes on you will have a good 25-50 miles depending on how your riding, ON my R6 i went 42 miles (highway) with the light on before i finally pulled into a gas station.

I dont know about the 1000rr but my R6 actually had a trip indicator turn on with the gas light so you knew how far you had gone.
