cbr1000rr starting in gear?
Hey there- help!
Has anyone heard of blades(05 repsol) starting in gear while the side stand was down?(bike jumped forward and fell)
Mine did and need some support as I am going through the warranty claim process. Please respond if you know of others with similar problems.

It should not start in gear, unless it had a false nuetral (reading it was in nuetral but it wasnt), see if it does it again, if it does then you hjave a bad sidestand switch
The problem I had was sometimes i'd kick it in neutral and see the green light on and everything but the bike would lunge forward and shut off as if it was still in gear. That happens every so often.
One very happy honda owner!
Honda have agreed to replace all damaged parts (two new fairings) with new ones and also want to replace both the neutral switch and the sidestand switch.
The bike is 11 months old and I am the second owner. I never had any problems with my 94 blade and after the way honda has dealt with my problem. I am more than happy to continue Blade ownership with the new beast!
Honda, as you all already know is the way to go!
