Heres a question for you guys. Ordered the Cheetah street lower fairings. Since it is fiberglass, you think i will have the same problem. I mean does fiberglass heat up like that ?

If you do the PAIR mod it will stop injection air in the exhaust, that stops the afterburn. It will make the pipes run a lot cooler.

I guess thats why after 7k miles mine is still good huh? Thank God for my desire to chop and cut anything I get!

I'll try and take some pics if they still have the plastics in the shop. BTW Honda sent the wrong plastics (05 blacks instead of 06 reds). what marons However, the sensor did the trick with the fan. It kicks on at 210 now, atleast thats what they told me.

Those of you who don't think you have a problem, look closer it's not that noticable. I didn't see it either until I looked up close. Is it only the 06's?

I have an 06 with over 9K and I've seen reports of burnt palstics pop up before. Each time I get worried and go check it out. So far I'm still good. I did do the PAIR mod a little while ago, so hopefully it's only on some bikes and I dodged that bullet.
