Default BMC Filter Help: Write up?

Hello,

I just purchased the dual cone BMC F1 filter from my nearest shop and was wondering if anyone has a quick write up on getting to my filter location.

I like takin stuff apart and would like to do this myself than take it to a shop. So if anyone has a link or write-up (w/ pictures hopefully) that would be great.

Thanks,

Adam

Default RE: BMC Filter Help: Write up?

Is the Air filter located in the sam position as the 03 600 picture i got from their service maual????

I have taken that piece apart but it wont nudge. The tank covers the back half of that box and when you unscrew whats showing it only lifts up about 30% of the way like there are 10 more bolts holding it down.

So if someone could please tell me how to get to my filter box so I can install my DUAL FILTER (2 round filters) on my 2006 cbr1000

*** IF ANYONE HAS A PDF SERVICE MANUAL FOR MY BIKE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!***

Thanks,
Adam

Nevermind. I got it. I had no idea that the tank was on a tilter. swung the tank upward. Unscrewed the back of the box and boom. its done! I'll go ahead tomorrow and do a DIY how to on changing out your air filter for those who want to save some $$.
