Yea I been on Super Corsa Pros for the last 3000klms, They are the best tyre I used so far too. They are heaps better than the original bridgestone BT-015 and then I tried Pilot powers ct2 and they were crap. Then the pros came out and I wasn't to sure bout the 190-55 profile? but they are really good. Heaps of grip and warm up time is close to nil.... I feather the clutch when I am hot because it is better than letting it lock. You jus get a feel for it! Does exactly what a slipper does just manually!!!!

Blade17 and DrDRFT,

As far as the wheelie situation goes did you guys consider comparing your size and weight differences. I think that would be a factor on how easy the bike gets up in different gears.

on the 1krr I can't see that making much of a difference. blade and me have approx the same power Highside of 160hp@wheels. At that sort of power it shouldn't make much of a difference. Unless one of us was 200kg...

But seriously, One a 1000cc bike with lower gearing, it really doesn't matter??

My tests were complete last nite when I got into a neighbouring country's highway and blast my way thru the gears.

While I was clearing the Malaysian Immigration checkpoint..I saw a group of fellow Singaporeans riding gixxers 05/06, busa, cbr 1000 rr..I was grinning to myself about the adrenalin pump with testing it out with these guys..but my immigration clearance lane got hold up so they went without me..what a waste!

While out on the highway..I saw a familiar headlite on my side mirror approaching fast! Its an R1..When he's about 5m behind me and fast approaching, I twist my throttle hard and the game starts!! A quick look at my side mirror saw him tuck in behind his windshield.."Bye bye sucker!!", I said to myself as I went thru the gears in quick succession.

True enough..the poor chap got smoked in his face. I slowed down allowing him to catch up..and twist my throttle hard, this time in 5th gear. Again the poor Yammie got no match....

** The moral of the long winded story is...MY BIKE STILL DOESN'T WHEELIE OFF THE THROTTLE NO MATTER HOW HARD I PULL!!

HAHA..I'm not being overly snobbish here but I'm happy cos all this while I was the ONE BEING SMOKED BY THE DAMNED R1s!! [8D]

Good to hear bro!

Don't know why your baby is not wheelie prone? Especially with your gearing and power!!!
Maybe just your riding style or the way you sit or something, not sure????

Still good to hear you smoked the yammi!!!!

hmm..could be thou. I sit very close to the fuel tank when I pull..and I tend to push my weight forward also. I always have the tot of my bike going forward without me on it!! LOL!!

But I've seen others..tuck under their screen and still able to pull off a wheelie.

Or is it because of my suspension settings?? I had my static sag adjusted and setup according for track use..hmmmm..wondering again!!

You are right, cause even when I am tucked under the screen and full leaning forward to fight against the wind and Gees, she still comes up when I am xcel8in hard!!!
I weigh only 75kg though.. But I really cannot see this afecting a 1000cc bike. ????

Not to sure bout this one!!! Maybe your baby just likes to have both wheels on the ground(JK)[8D]
