Default Any suggestions

I have an 06 1000RR. It has about 7000 miles on it. For some reason in the past couple of months I have noticed that my bike is loosing power. Power wheelies came easy in 2nd gear but here lately it won't come up by throttle alone. I am having to jerk up on it. I don't mind doing that I just don't understand why the power loss. I did do the flapper and baffle mod a couple months ago. Has anyone had any problems with that modification? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just gonna chime in for 1 sec. I bought my 06 1000rr, with 1900 miles from a guy who already did the flapper mod. I cant comment on HP gains etc...but I can say that I simply do not like the sound that the intake makes at lower RPM's. Though it may gain a few HP, or lose a few, one thing that I'm conclusive of is that it doesnt help the bike sound any better. Once I have to take the fairing off, the hose gets put back on.

check the tread on your tires, and your air pressure you'd be supprised how much that will change in your wheelie power.
