2010 SC59: Low and High beam must NOT be switched on simultaneously
Hi guys, hope I will find help here.
I am from Europe and due to local laws, I have to change the way how the high/low beam works on my SC59.
Now the low beam swithes on automatically. If I switch on the High beam, both Low+High are on.
I must change it, so when the High beam in on, the Low beam is off (so they do not work simultaneously).
Has anyone did this on your bikes or have a clear understanding on how to do this?
Visiting the dealer is not an option, unfortunately, will have to do this on my own.
Please help!

Hi ViridianBlaze welcome to the forum,
Please take a moment to introduce yourself to the forum, how long have you been on two wheels, what bikes do you have etc.
We also love pictures.
The requirement to have the lights working independently is a new one on me
I do not know of any machine car or bike that does this, must be a very interesting local law...
The only thing I could think of would be to wire your dipped beam through a relay that is 'normally open', then use the power line from the high beam to operate the relay to close the circuit and remove the power to your dipped headlight.
Not especially difficult, just need to find somewhere in the cowl to mount the relay and find the relevant wires and wire up. Do you have a wiring diagramme?
Maybe someone else has a more elegant / simpler solution?
Cheers
Al
That is certainly a new one on me
