if it was the clutch hyd/system? buy the looks of the fluid spilt you would be having hyd/ failure by now, like the other dudes are telling you look to your cooling system & usually the top of the spill will show you a clue where it's coming from. this needs to be addressed ASAP as this could kill an engine.

So... I managed to get down and dirty with her. took fairings off, still couldnt identify where this leak had been coming from. Then took off the Tank and noticed that my fuel pump and breather pipes were not all looking great. Turns out it was a fuel leak and was progressively getting worse. This bike only has 30k kms and is relatively new. Thanks for all the help guys

Default Theres a recall for tank drain pipe failure on 07s

On the 07's with the VIN# JH2SC57407M300×××× there is a factory recall on the fuel tank vent pipe. Apparently on affected bikes the tube cracks at the weld and leaks fuel onto starter causing explosions and death of rider. All dealers and honda service centers are aware of the issue and can check for affected bikes in less than a hour.. if your bike is affected by the problem a brand new tank will be installed at zero cost to owner..
