Default Coolant leak at 185+

So I took my fairings off today for no reason and I went for a ride. When I got back I noticed I was leaking coolant. I cleaned everything off and then started her up. It seems like shes fine till it gets 185+. I will get pictures of where I see her leaking from. I did a search and it seems like it could be a bad crush washer in one location but the other location I have no clue about..

It is very strange that your only leaking at certain temps but I guess its feasible that it has to do with system pressure. I do find it odd considering that your point at 2 different bolts in your pics.

The first bolt you pointed at is on your water pump - which makes sense. You COULD have a coolant leak here.

The 2nd pic you point at a bolt that holds the stator cover on the engine. There is no cooling jacket behind this, only an oil filled compartment of the crankcase. You cannot leak coolant from this bolt, only oil.

There is no "crush washers" on either bolt. The water pump does have a rubber o-ring holding the two halves together and this is probably where your problem is.

Part number 5 in this diagram:

I found it strange because I tightened the water pump nut down and it stopped dribbling out of that. I also tightened the other nut down and it did nothing. I took the tank, air filter everything off and let it run till it started to leak. Nothing showed evidence of a leak but that nut. I then torqued it down some more and let it run till 200 degrees and it did not leak. I added some coolant and I will be keeping an eye on it.

edit. I don't think it was coolant and oil. I am going to change the oil and check though when I get back from vacation.

Did you ever find a solution? My bike is leaking from the exact same 2 locations.
