HondaEastToledo has a few 06 1000's left over...2 Blue Yellow's for 8999....out of state and you'll pay just that. And they'll give you other deals on lids and stuff to get you rolling. Ask for Ryan, he hooked me up pretty good.

I have seen the OTD term misunderstood by a lot of posters because it does mean everything including sales taxes. Buying out of state, you won't pay it until you try to register the bike in your home state and then will get hit for sales taxes along with registration. Don't forget transportation costs to get the bike if bought out of state. You will find better deals on the 06s simply because it's over a year old. Abernathy's deal is hard to believe but if that's what he got, maybe the dealer wanted to stop losing more money holding the bike. (Was it brand new, salvage title, or reposssed?) Your 10,500 deal for an 07 is a good one. I paid 10K OTD for my 06 last October but I also bought prepaid maintenance, extended warranty, and Lo Jack even though I haggled those down too. Remember, the dealer has to make a profit to stay open; there's too much ego going on the boards about who got the lowest price. Supporting your local dealer has long range benefits.
