Yet another price which is impossible without tax included. So it's not OTD.

Hudson that price is an advertised price www.abernathycycles.com . Why would you say "yet again,
impossible" when we are all on this site for the same reason...to provide advice on our experiences with
our common hobby. I'm just trying to answer chuckb's question with accurate information, if anything
you are confusing the thread with inaccuracy[sm=sigh.gif].

You posted that this was an out the door price. Abernathy's has $8484 as their "price" on their hot deals page. It's certainly not OTD without taxes and other fees they might try to tag on. Don't post that it's OTD. So who's the one posting innaccurate info? Chuckb and everyone else here needs good info, not bad or incomplete info.

I say "yet again" because what openclass pro posted was just an impossible OTD price given the REAL DEALER INVOICE information.

If you post a price, please post location and dealership info. This would make it more useful and verifiable to an extent.

You can get $9000 or within a couple hundred from a dealer for a brand new '06 - with taxes paid.

i'm looking for a used one. i hate the thought of interest and rediculous payment plans... maybe an 04 i could afford cash, given that my 900rr sells.

Chuck have you checked Kelly blue book? Here's their info for 2004:

2004 Honda CBR1000RR 4-Cylinder
4-Stroke
998cc Suggested Retail Value $7260 The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the unit has been fully reconditioned and is in excellent condition. Mileage/condition and additional equipment may have a substantial impact on the value shown above. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the unit's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions.
