Very glad I saw this thread.. I'm picking up a leftover 08 next week. I'll call the dealer tomorrow and make sure the update has been done. Thanks..

I manage some large scale computing environments and have to decide when to install the "latest" software updates. Waiting until everyone else deals with the bleeding edge to shake out the kinks is my normal mode of operation and it's worked well over the years. In this case I just happened to be at the 600 mile maintenace mark when I got this so I figured why not save a trip and just let them do both at once - pffft!

Next time I won't think so hard, I'll just wait.

and if you wait, you can use the old one for a bit then get a fresh part thus extending the life of the final product.
