Default 04 CBR1000RR clutch rattle

My 04 CBR1000RR makes an annoying rattling sensation throughout the entire bike. I have traced the shaking down to the clutch cover. After researching, I found out that other people have made suggestions that it may be the clutch basket that is causing the rattle. The idea is that the clutch plates have worn grooves into the clutch basket which is causing the plates to bang against the basket. It makes sense, as I have seen this with my Ducati dry clutch. But on Honda wet clutch with only 18k miles? I kind of have my doubts. What do you all think? I would like some suggestions before I tear off the cover and begin dismantling the clutch. Is this a common issue with the 04 fireblades?

I wouldn't say its a common issue.

When is it the worst, does it do it constantly? Does pulling the lever help or make no difference? Does it do it while riding? Does it do it more or less under load?
