Anybody have an 06 that has a loud rattle noise in the clutch area, gets louder when you slightly pull in the leaver, and mine seems to have a ticking noise loud when cold not quite as bad after its warmed up. Thanks for any replies.

 

Yea mine does that a lil bit. Asked the people at Honda and they said it has something to with the the oil needing to circulate good. That didnt make a whole lot of sense to me but thats what they told me

 

Well now my feet vibrate enough that they fall asleep, I am sure somthing isnt right, This is my 5th CBR and I never heard or felt anything like this before, guess I will just take it in.

 

I have an o6 as well, mine does the same thing. Take it to the dealership and they will tell you to live with it.

 

my bike makes a weird ticking noise when geting on the front brake aggressively? any of you heard of that?

 

The only noise my bike makes is a buzz at about 5k and i guess alot of the rr's have it the plastic tank cover vibrates against the tank...if you push down on the front of the tank it stops...lol im removing the cover and putting dynomatt or doublesided tape their to stop it ...other that that though your bike shouldnt make any real ackward out of the ordinary noises

 

Ticks and slight rattling is normal. Mine does it, all of the posts on here does it and the two that are owned by my roommates in the garage do it as well. Just engine noise. And yes, getting on the brakes hard will cause it to vibrate and cause a little noise in the front.

If it gets worse (and not just in your head worse, but audibly worse), THEN I would take it to a dealer and let them know.
