Default Yoshimura Pipes Question

How do you make the original Yoshimura exhaust pipes louder? They are rolled tighter than one of Cheech and Chongs joints. The baffle seems to be straight through but the diameter is small and the fiberglass packing is thick and tight as hell. I took the end cap off for the pictures and tried pulling on the baffle and it won't budge. I have no clue how to go about opening these things up for a beefier sound.

Any suggestions?

center inner cone section incorporating the internal baffle/arrestor needs to be cut out

easiest way hammer a round piece of wood into the inner baffle then use a hole saw
to cut out - hole saw diameter needs to be smaller than the outer baffle tube
obviously

The KLR folks do something similar with stock KLR pipes - google is your friend

kinda like this

Spock I did search for info and found nothing on the older style pipes. That looks like that should work. Thanks!
