Default Ya learn something new every day...

Was talking to an Auto Sparky and he said that you should do your tests on continuity on a stator when the bike is hot. Because as the wires get hotter the resistance if different than cold. Especially for an old stator that is breaking down.

That is a good one to remember.
Wires can also heat up and break circuit. Anything with a coil can do it.
