Hello Minn gamla gubbe! (You shouldn't have taught me that)Actually Dutch - "Draken" - the Dragon "Berge" - mountains. Named by the Dutch pioneer settlers in reference to their looking like the spine and teeth of a huge dragon, very jagged and long.
We had Busa R, GSX 1000R 06, KTM 950 adventure, CBR1000F, Intruder 1700, R6, Varadero, FirestormVFR1000, Suzuki 1200 Bandit and the smallest a Suzuki 400, but the best were two XT500 Yamaha *thumpers* who did the whole run, rain, cold and all !! Brave men !!

It's Autumn (fall) here now, KD,so probably one of the last mountain runs we'll be able to do - no snow, just icy roads......and we had 200K's (125 miles) of driving, freezing rain and mist on the return run.......aaaarrrrggggh ![:@]Some more pics .........

This wasn't a Club run - just a group of people who wanted to go along - our normal club runs are zx6 (the baby of the bunch) to the Road Captain's Hayabusa. Thumpers, KTM's and so on just wouldn't be able to keep up........ TOURERS RULE.........he he
