What have you done to your CBR 1000f today?

Front End
I rebuilt most everything on the front end of my '87 Cane this week. Brake calipers/Pads, new 5.1 DOT brake fluid. Fork seals with 15w fork oil.
All because of a fork seal started to leak.
Now she stops on a dime and gives changes and no more front end diving.

Made a quick 650 mile trip this week Cincinnati-Chicago-Cincinnati. Ride up and pack a rental van day one. Day two, move it all to a third floor walk up, give daughter a hug and ride home. Bike did great and was ready for more, I was spent.
Enjoyed the carb sync job I did before the trip. Makes the city riding easier. Think I may put tires on before the ride to the Dragon and Barber Vintage Festival next week.

what I did to my CBR1000F Today
Last night Me and my son inlaw replaced the brake fluid and adjusted my chain and realigned my rear wheel.
The best part is after we did the chain. The shimmy in my front end when I used the brake went away. Evidently the previous owner didn't do it correctly.

I know it's not what I have done today because I'm in the Northsea at work but over the last 2 months I have had the following done to my bike.
The forks sent of for a complete strip down, clean and rebuilt with Race Tech Gold valves, new springs from K Tech and set up for the bike and my weight.
New tyres, Michelin Pilot Road 3's, that are nicely scrubbed and feeling awesome and of course done a few hundred miles on it.

Who did you get to do the work on the forks Chippy?
I should perhaps take advantage of my down time and do likewise. In truth I should do them myself but then there's a certain je ne ce quoi about a professional/specialist job.
I have a set of PR4's sitting in my garage on the spare wheels ready to go on the bike. They've been staring at me since the surgery in June. Sigh.....
Glad you're OK anyway.

Hi Henry,
Hope you are fixing well and starting to get back on your feet after the surgery.
I got my forks done by this guy TW Suspension Tech, North West's Motorcycle Suspension Set-Up & Tuning
His name is Teut and he is awesome. The total difference in the handling of the bike especially with the new valves and springs is amazing. He also reshimmed everything to make sure the oil flow was improved.
He did explain everything he did but me and forks just don't get on so I left him to it and they are now better feeling and the bike better handling than when I bought her many, many years ago.
