Hi Guys,
Yes I came off the Kwak 4 days after bought her :-( Front tyre washed out on the simplest of bends. Mixture of new bike, poor road surface, wrong suspension settings, missing chevrons (found in ditch) - awaiting letter from the highways about my claim.

Total damage was: front wheel, both lower fairings, nose cone, headlight, screen, forks, side and main stand and left footpeg assembly. I cam a way with a bruised shoulder.

Lesson to be learnt - learn your bike, set up your suspension, look out for Welsh corners. Good gear saves the bruises (see photo)

Stay safe

Rick

Installed the dipped hydrographics parts today. I'm very happy with them but I'm going to get the silver fairing pieces right down the bottom done in CF as well to show the round covers up better. That will be an after xmas job.

Today I removed the rear shock absorbed for servicing. (you barely see it in the bottom corner of the picture.

Already removed the fairings before I started today to get to the radiator and coolant pipes, trying to find a leak!

finally getting started got the busted motor with the hole out. Now I need to move over the starter, alternator, and such. Gotta save up to replace some gaskets and hoses. Any service you guys suggest while I have the new motor out still? Name: IMAG1574.jpg

Mine was the O-ring where the chrome pipe comes off the water pump. I now smell coolant and suspect the O-rings up top. Either there or the hose between the thermostat and radiator. I'll have a look in the spring.
