Glitter - the herpes of the Craft World. It just gets everywhere.

All bikes are an expression of our individial personalities. I think you have done a great job Missynet, and I can't wait to see the finished bike.

That explains why my bike is always dirty

One mans glitter is another mans metalflake.

It's all semantics, whatever makes the owner happy and proud is the correct solution.

Witness Yums RX7 post, I would be just as happy to own that beat up old piece of fun as a factory perfect example. Both are equally capable of being hugely grin making; smiles per hour, that's the aim.

Indeed TK indeed.

I thought the RX-7 was brilliant!

Thumbs up She lives!

Well lets see..................SHE LIVES!

After breaking down 85 miles from home, inept AA roadside service and a relay home..

Left the battery on charge (it was flattened due to cranking) she fired up after a few turns. Once warm starts at a touch of the starter. Did a few miles around the block at differing speeds at all is fine.
Voltage across the terminals is 14.5 dipping to 12.5 with all electrics on including heated grips at Hot setting. :-)

Figure it was an airlock in the fuel line where I switch to reserve just before killing the engine, then an inept AA guy who incorrectly grounded his starter pack on to alloy which is a poor earth. He diagnosed no spark and faulty crankcase censor

Ready to roll again at 90,500 miles

P.S VOTE FOR HENRYM in ROTM

Looks like the bike is really taking shape Missey. The frame looks fantastic, makes me jealous!

Nothing wrong with glitter, if that's what makes you happy.

Can't wait to see the finished project, though I think you'll make me jealous all over again. Well done!
