Got a chance to catch up on much needed PM's
New oil/filter
New fuel filter
New plugs
Cleaned and oiled the K&N
Coolant flushed and recharged
Adjust and lube the chain
Checked tire pressures
Speedo's packed it in.
Need to pull the front wheel and find out what's at the bottom of that situation

Broke down
Well coming back from the NEC bike show last sunday we had a complete electrical failure 
first time in 3 years she has failed me.
Had a 2 hour ride back home courtesy of the AA and hope its the starter solenoid. The contacts are a little corroded so have a new one ready to fit tomorrow.
Also bought a few red LEDs to see about fitting under the rear of the seat towards the wheel and wiring up to the brakes. Will see how it looks.
For UK riders - a good breakers - Abbey bike breakers in Leicester - excellent service and response.
Not bad for an 89000 miler

Friday I had my first low speed drop since I was 17!!!
I was just leaving McDonald's - cold engine - hesitated - on an uphill turn - down to the ground we went.
Bent my clutch lever scratched the crash bar cover and scraped the back of the left can.
There is a testament to Honda's forethought!!!
So it's shorty levers - prolly red
and a little touch up paint.

Bummer Ranchome, it's always those low speed drops that leave you red faced!
Although most won't admit it - it has happened to us all at one time or another. I treat them as you do, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade! Make it better than it was before the drop.

My new levers came yesterday. I can't wait to get them on.
On another note, anyone know the best way to get factory match paint?
I have to repaint the impact bar cover and there are some other spots that need attention.

Sand and prime
I have 3 sets of side fairings. I have NO EXPERIENCE with body work and in need of some advice. What do i need? ie. tools, sand paper grade, body filler, any other materials or supplies? The few of platics just have road rash/cracks and the others just stickers that need to be removed
